One
of the simple operations,
which can be frequently
used, is sorting
of the table by
the definite column.
For this (in the
report template)
you should write
an option «Sort»
in the option cell
of the definite
column (by which
you want to sort).
Below
you can see the
example of the sorting
usage. There is
an option Sort
in the service cell
of the column «Area».
Besides that, it’s
possible to turn
on sorting in descending
order. For this
it’s necessary
to add an option
Desc
to the option Sort
and separate them
with semicolon.
Sorting in the
XL Report Builder
has some limitations.
First of all, the
range can be simultaneously
sorted maximum by
three columns. The
second limitation
is that XL Report
Builder sorts the
range only from
the left to the
right. If you specify
in the template
more than three
columns to sort
in the list range,
then the range will
be sorted by the
first three columns
from the left.
