Objects description / Object Report

Description:

This object is the main element of any report. As it represents the report itself, this object is always the main and the only one in any report.

Parameters:

Caption

Report caption. Is intended for the report identification. At changing of the contained value, the name of this object in the objects tree will be automatically changed. It will be offered to save the report itself under this name (at pressing the button [Save]).
Template File
Name of the current report’s file-template. If the template is located in the same folder with the EXE-file of the program XL Report Builder, it’s not necessary to enter the full path to the file. Also in this property it is possible to enter a relative path like for the EXE-file of the program (for example «..\Templates»). If this property contains nothing, then at pressing at the Edit Template MS-Excel will be called and a blank workbook will be added to it.
Active Sheet

Not necessary property, which specifies, on which sheet Microsoft Excel should become active (if the report consists of several sheets. If template sheet is not specified, then at the report creation Excel workbook will be opened on the sheet, which was active at the moment of the template saving.

Macro Before Build

Property for specifying of the VBA macros which should be called BEFORE the report execution. Using this property it is necessary to specify the module name, to put a dot and then to write the VBA procedure name (for example: "Module1.HelloWorld").

Macro After Build
Property for specifying of the VBA macros which should be called AFTER the report execution. Using this property it is necessary to specify the module name, to put a dot and then to write the VBA procedure name (for example: "Module1.HelloWorld").
